Chocolate Easter Nests is a modern British recipe for a classic kid's treat of nests made of cornflakes in a chocolate base decorated with chocolate eggs that's a cross between a cake and a candy (sweet). Chocolate Easter Nests Recipe

Ingredients:

225g (1/2 lb) milk chocolate (30% cocoa solids)
1 tbsp golden syrup (corn syrup)
50g (2 oz) butter
75g (3 oz) cornflakes
30 (about) chocolate mini eggs

Method:

Line the wells of a 12-hole bun tray with small paper cases.

Combine the chocolate, syrup and butter in a pan over low heat. Stir until melted then take off the heat and beat until blended.

Gently stir in the cornflakes and mix until well coated in the mixture. Spoon this into paper cases then sit between 2 and 3 mini eggs in the centre of each one. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill until set.
